Welcome to the Thyroid 101 Masterclass!

Whether you have had hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s for a long time or are newly diagnosed or just suspect that your thyroid isn’t functioning well, and you have symptoms that make it hard to get through your day, you are in the right place!

This is the right place to learn what is going on with your thyroid and what you need to do to heal your body and get your life back, so that you can enjoy life again and have the energy and vitality to pursue your dreams!

I’m Danielle Meitiv, scientist, health coach, and mom with Hashimoto’s. I’ve done this for myself and helped hundreds of women just like you get their lives and health back.

This video is the first in a series of three training videos in the Thyroid 101 Masterclass-– where I’ll be teaching you how you can get your health and life back too!

By the end of this Masterclass you will be able to answer the maddening question that so many of us who suffer from hypothyroidism ask again and again:

Why do I still feel awful if my labs are normal??

The goal of this workshop is to show you the critical things you need to know to heal your thyroid and your body so that you too can get your life back.

Here’s what I learned and what I want to share with you:

  • That many if not most of the awful symptoms you are suffering, from hair loss to stubborn weight gain–can be traced to your thyroid.
  • That you need to get the proper tests done AND know how to interpret them to understand what is going on in your body and why.
  • And that while hypothyroidism may be a diagnosis, it does NOT have to be a life sentence! There are ways to treat hypothyroidism with medication AND ways to heal your body so that you no longer suffer from ANY of these symptoms.

When you know how your thyroid works–and why and how it doesn’t work when you have hypothyroidism then you can heal your body and get your life back.

So let’s dig in. In this first video, we’re going to focus on how your thyroid works–or sometimes doesn’t work–and how hypothyroidism can cause so many problems!

Tracking Your Symptoms: FREE Guide!

The best way to understand your body and learn how hypothyroidism affects YOU is to tune into your symptoms and monitor how you feel day to day. I’ve created a guide to help you do just that! It includes a checklist of possible symptoms along with guidance on tuning into your body to figure out how hypothyroidism shows up in your body and your life.

Understanding this is the first step towards healing!

  1. Brain Fog, anxiety, weight gain/unable to lose weight. Stress and overwhelm. I’d love some guidance on how to eventually get off medication. Currently on Natural Dessicated.

  2. After reviewing this video, I believe that I don’t have enough T3 happening. In turn, chances are I’m not HYPOthyroid even though I’ve been HYPERthyroid for a few years.

If I balanced out my immune system properly, my life would be full of outdoor activity, social connections with others and not a desire to be left alone to wollow in my self-pity.

  3. Most frustrating symptom is the brain fog and then low energy. My life probably would be very different if I had the energy to do things. The low energy combined with depression is definitely a party pooper. Thank you for helping me.

  4. Thank you for your comments. I hear you! Weight, brain fog, energy, aches, hair loss, low libido – as you saw these are all common symptoms of hypothyroidism. The good news is that when you know the problem, you can solve it – and these symptoms can be eliminated!

For some people the solution will include medication but not for all. And many people are able to reduce their dose or even stop taking medication when they take the other necessary steps to heal.

Video #3 is all about treatment options – medication and more. I hope that helps!

  5. I started having problems after my first child was born in december 1995. After seven years I finally was given medication but I’m still energy depleted. Although I’ve had 13 different symtoms over the years, the fatigue still is my biggest problem, together with the cognitive difficulties.
